So, there’s a girl called Sashi here on tumblr who is suffering with a severe case of endometriosis.
This means that tumours and cysts develop on her ovaries and are crushing her uterus and intestines. It’s an extremely painful condition and also means that she cannot eat because there is no room for her to digest food. mooselikejagger explains in full here.
She has no insurance but thanks to her close friends and a multitude of fandoms, money is being raised to help fund the surgery she needs. Last number I saw was around $17K, which is phenomenal.

A new study found that using the internet too much can cause psychological problems. Although I use the internet all day and personally I think that the people who did that study are just out to get me.
